Zora Walker Hill

Zora Belle Garner Walker Hill, 88, of Asheboro, formerly of Seagrove, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at New Center Christian Church with Pastor Jonathan Burris and Pastor Jason Frank officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Randolph County, NC, on August 21, 1929, Mrs. Hill was the daughter of the late Vance Garner and Flossie Spencer Garner. She was a member of New Center Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her first husband, John "J.C." Walker; second husband, Sammy Hill; and brother, Wayne Garner. Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service at the church, and other times at the home of her niece, Donna Chriscoe.
