Zillian Starnes Bryant, 60, of Asheboro, went home to her eternal father on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at her home with her family present. A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Brent Tysinger officiating. Born on October 3, 1961, in Stanly County, NC, Zillian was the daughter of the late Everette Davis Starnes and Eldora Thompson. She enjoyed gardening, and Zillian was loved by all of her family, both biological and her "mountain" family. She was known as "The Princess" and she cherished her title. She was a very avid animal lover. She loved them all especially "Gus", Kenny's horse and her cats, "Molly", "Mini", "Milly" and "Jack". Zillian now has her official crown and her reward for being such a loving sibling, aunt to all her nieces and nephews, and a friend to all who know her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth "Kenny Bob" Bryant; sister, Pearlie Drye; brother, Michael Starnes; and brother-in-law; Benny Drye. She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie S. Barbee (Ted), Tammie S. Helms (Gary); sister-in-law, Linda P. Starnes; brothers, Joel C. Starnes (Amy), Allen W. Starnes (Diane); 10 nieces and nephews; and 17 very special great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022, prior to the service at Ridge Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Randolph County Animal Shelter, 1370 County Land Rd., Randleman, NC 27317; or Randolph SPCA, 300 W. Bailey Street, Asheboro, NC 27203; or any local animal charity.
