Zellen Johnson

Zellen Ray Farmer Johnson, 80, of Franklinville, died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow at Kime Family Cemetery. Born April 8, 1935 in Guilford County, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Jesse and Bessie Farmer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Farmer, Katherine Sumner Helen Morrison and Ruth Farmer. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Johnson, Sr. of the home; daughters, Doris Sontag and Lois Johnson, both of the home; son, Floyd Johnson, Jr. (Tish) of Sophia; sisters, Lois Kime (Howard) of Climax, Mary Peele of Asheboro; grandchildren, Roger Martin, Jr., Matthew Johnson, Heather Cody, Forrest Glaspey (Sara), Bill Glaspey (Jackie); and great-grandchildren, Brayden Martin, Elizabeth Glaspey, Natalie Glaspey, Emma Glaspey, Kyleigh Cody, Ivan Glaspey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Floyd Johnson, Jr. Memorials may be made to The Randolph Hospice House, P.O.
