Worth Junior Luck

Mr. Worth Junior Luck, 88, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home. A private graveside service for the immediate family is scheduled for 2:30 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Mt. Tabor Community Church with Rev. Stephen Stowe officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Luck was born March 5, 1925. He was the son of the late Ida May Luck. Mr. Luck was a retired brick mason and a U.S. Army Veteran who served during World War II. Mr. Luck, is survived by his wife, Hazel Keeling Luck; daughters, Peggy Luck Lanier and husband, Max, Lulane Luck Long and husband, Andy, both of Asheboro, NC; sons, Calvin Luck and wife, Alice, of Randleman, NC, Terry Luck and wife, Virginia, Mike Luck and wife, Carolyn, Mark Luck and wife, Tracey, all of Asheboro; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family would like to request donations be made to Mt. Tabor Community Church or Cemetery, 2547 Buffalo Ford Road, Asheboro, NC 27205.
