Woodrow "Woody" Locklear

Mr. Woodrow "Woody" Locklear, 75, of 529 Worthville St., Apt 5A, Randleman, NC, died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Graybrier Nursing & Retirement Center, Trinity. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Branson Mill Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Pastor Dwayne Locklear, Rev. Curt Locklear and Pastor Mitchell Owenby officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Robeson County, Mr. Locklear was born August 18, 1934, the son of the late Pittman and Harriette Locklear. He was a member of Branson Mill Baptist Church and was retired from Commonwealth Hosiery. Survivors include his wife, Carrie Lewis Locklear, of the home; daughter, Jane Seals and husband, Lynn, of Franklinville; sons, Dwayne Locklear and wife, Rosemary, of Bristol, VA, Curt Douglas Locklear and wife, Gloria, of Hamlet, Allen Wayne Locklear, of Climax, NC,; sister, Lucille Hardin, of Morehead, NC; brothers, Herbert Locklear, of Hamlet, NC, Roosevelt Locklear, of Laurenburg, NC; grandchildren, Mitchell Seals, Terry Seals, Joshua Locklear, Brittany Locklear, Crystal Locklear; great grandchildren, Makayla Seals, Jordan Seals, Matrix Seals. The family will receive friends at Branson Mill Baptist Church, 1362 Branson Mill Rd, Pleasant Garden, NC, from 6 until 8 pm on Saturday and other times at the home.
