William Keith Withrow

William Keith Withrow, 54, of Asheboro, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Duke Medical Center in Durham. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at New Hope Memorial Gardens with Charles Reeder officiating. Keith was born on June 9, 1966, in Geauga County, Ohio. He worked for Randolph County Maintenance as a sign technician. He was a laid-back man who was kind to everybody. He helped anyone in need and could be anyone's friend after the first meeting. Keith was known to always have a smile and he enjoyed playing jokes and pranks on people. Keith was preceded in death by his father, William Withrow; stepson, Kenny Keaton, Jr.; and nephew, Joseph Moore. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lisa Currie Withrow of the home; son, Austin Keith Withrow and girlfriend Leslie Paul of Asheboro; mother, Mary Withrow of Ansted, WV; sister, Cherlyn Moore and husband Terry of Charleston, WV; brother, Dale Duane Withrow and wife Jill of Asheboro; nieces and nephews, Cameron Currie, Stephanie Bosher, Kenny Withrow, Kevin Withrow, Eric Moore, Tabitha Stephens; great nieces and nephews, Kacen Stephens, Shai Stephens, Kara Stephens, Abigail Stephens; brother and sister-in-law, David and Laurie Currie of Brown Summit; mother-in-law, Susan Bauguess and husband Richard of Asheboro; and father-in-law, Roger Currie of Reidsville, NC. Mr. Withrow will lie in state from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family at the home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to friends and family who helped and supported Keith and his family. Also a special thank you to 2-Heart ICU at Moses Cone Hospital and 8-West ICU at Duke University Hospital for the care provided to Keith.
