Willard L. Coltrane

Willard Lee Coltrane, 66, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. Born October 12, 1950 in Randolph County, Willard was the son of the late Brice and Edna Kearns Coltrane. He was married to the late Wanda Luther Coltrane. He was employed as a loader operator for most of his working years. Willard loved being outdoors, camping and working in his sawmill. He also enjoyed going to the lake in the summer and spending time with his family and friends. Willard is survived by his daughter, Hanna Farmer; son, Jeffery Needham; brothers, Don Coltrane and wife, Bonnie and Danny Coltrane and wife, Billie, all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jordin and Camdin Needham and Caitlin and Jason Farmer; four nieces, Wendy Garica, Shelly Coltrane, Jodi Alegria and Ariel Coltrane. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home.
