Wanda Cole Hussey

Wanda Nell Cole Hussey, of 207 Pineview Street, Asheboro, died on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Kidd and the Rev. Wyatt Hoogkamp officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hussey was a native of Randolph County, NC and she was retired from Everyready/Energizer. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and she attended Friendship Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Junior Hussey, of the home; daughters, Cynthia D. "Donnie" Swearingen, of Akron, OH, Debbie Singer and husband, Randy, of Seagrove, Jane Hoogkamp and husband, Wyatt, of Asheboro; stepson, Mark Hussey, of Wallace, SC; sister, Grethel Maness, of Seagrove; six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph Co., P.O.
