Wadell Gooden

Wadell Gooden, 88 of Asheboro died Friday Dec. 14, 2012 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation. Mr Gooden is survived by his daugher, Susie Mabe and husband Mike of Asheboro. 3 Sons, Larry Wayne Gooden and wife Barbara of Franklinville, Garland Douglas Gooden and wife Carlene of Asheboro, and Tony Wadell Gooden and wife Valarie of Myrtle Beach, SC. 3 Grand-Daughters and 4 Great-grandchildren. Funeral Service was held on Monday Dec. 17 as Randolph Memorial Park in the Chapel, Graveside service with Military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Gooden served in the US Army during World War II, where he received American Theater Service Medal, EAME Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
