Virginia Martin

Virginia "Tom" Dara Berry Martin, 99, of Randleman, died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Adams Farm Living & Rehabilitation in Jamestown. Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 3, 2017, at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Officiating will be Charles Reeder. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Martin was born October 5, 1917, the daughter of the late James Frazier and Fannie Berry. She had worked at Bossong Hosiery and enjoyed gardening, reading and politics. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Palmer, and sister, Grace Toomes. She is survived by her grandsons, Roger Palmer and wife, Kim, Chris Palmer and girlfriend, Donna Hall, daughter-in-law, Helen Palmer, and great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Palmer.
