Vickie Smith Taskey

Mrs. Vickie Smith Burgess Taskey, 59, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, October 14, 2011, at The Randolph Hospice House. A celebration of life service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, October 16, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Eller officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Taskey was born April 16, 1952. She was the daughter of Hubert James Smith and Loree Hunt Smith. She worked as a sales representative for Uncommon USA. Mrs. Taskey, in addition to her parents, is survived by her husband, Bill Taskey; daughter, Tonya Bray LeGrande and husband, Will of Greensboro, NC; stepdaughter, Lisa Forren and husband, Doug of Virginia; stepson, Matthew Taskey, of Virginia; grandchildren, Taylor Coble, Brittany Coble, Natalie Forren, and Zoey Taskey; great grandchildren, Olivia Coble and Jayden Deaton; and many special friends.
