Vickie Dorrane Evans, 39, of Asheboro, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rebecca Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Evans was born September 7, 1977 in Prince George County, MD. She is survived by her daughters, Just'us Faye Evans and Summer Lee Evans, both of Asheboro; father, Kenneth Nathaniel Evans of Washington, DC; mother, Gladys Lee Brower of Greensboro;, sisters, Olivia Norrizetta Gray of Charlotte, Lisa Latashia Evans of Asheboro; grandmother, Grace Lee Brady of Asheboro; nieces, Lashaunda Walden, Monica Walden, Carlissa Martin; nephew, Xavier "Slugger" Martin; five aunts; 2 uncles; a host of cousins, including Mary Christine Gray. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday, prior to the service at Ridge Funeral Home.
