Vickie Castevens

Vickie Sue Miller Castevens, 59, of Franklinville, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. She was born June 2, 1959 in Randolph County, and was the daughter of the late Noel "Jack" Miller and Betty Greene Miller. She was a registered nurse at Randolph Hospital, Randolph County Health Department, and worked in Home Health. She loved her cats and spending time with her family. Mrs. Castevens is survived by her husband, Morgan Alvin Castevens, of the home; daughter, Kelly Sinclair (Allen) of Trinity; sons, Adam Carpenter (Crystal) of Asheboro, Jason Castevens (Meredith) of Cary, Jeremy Castevens (Ashley) of Asheboro; sister, Penny Isom (Pete) of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jackson Carpenter, Jacob Carpenter, Brittany Castevens, Taylor Castevens, Brian Castevens, and Hannah Castevens. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 3:30 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. on Friday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
