Verlie Lambeth Presnell

Mrs. Verlie Evelyn Lambeth Presnell, 67, of Asheboro, NC, died Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Olin Village. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, December 2, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Rush officiating. Burial will follow at Back Creek Friends Meeting Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Presnell was born December 27, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Jacob Lindsey Lambeth and Ruby Verdie Hughes Lambeth. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Schaefer. Mrs. Presnell is survived by her son, John Presnell and wife, Yan, of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Vergie Hughes and husband, Luther, of Thomasville, NC, Vida Allred and husband, Charles, Vera Cunningham and husband, Jim, all of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Odell Lambeth and wife, Barbara, of Asheboro, NC, Oscar Lambeth and wife, Shelby, of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Matthew Garner, Kristy Presnell, Tori Schaefer, Derek Presnell, Ariel Presnell; five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, December 1, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
