Truman Pritchard

Mr. Cletus Truman Pritchard, 87, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, September 21, 2012, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Huldah Baptist Church with Rev. L.D. Pritchard, and Roger Pritchard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Pritchard was born May 11, 1925. He was the son of the late Lewis Dolph Pritchard and Ada Roanna Pritchard. He retired from Burlington Industries and was an active member of Huldah Baptist Church. He served in the US Army Air Forces during WW II. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pritchard was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Dawn Pritchard. Mr. Pritchard is survived by his wife, Dixie Pritchard, of the home; daughter, Gwen Pritchard Richardson and husband, Joey, of Seagrove; son, Donald Pritchard, of Asheboro; sisters, Anna Lee Brower and husband, Jim, of Asheboro, Sara Glover, husband, Clarence, of Charleston, SC, Phyllis Palmer and husband, Bernie, of Lexington, SC, Betty Buchanan, of France, grandchildren, Neal Richardson, Kimberly Richardson, Marissa Pritchard; and great grandchildren, Logan Richardson and Makayla Harrelson. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
