Mr. Troy Edward Bullins, 70 of Asheboro, NC died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at FirstHealth of Carolinas Moore Regional Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewey Reeder officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC Mr. Bullins was born April 22, 1945. He was the son of the late Troy Leonard and Elbia Graves Bullins. He worked for Samet Corporation out of Greensboro, NC. He loved to coon hunt and loved being around his family. He attended Rushwood Park Wesleyan Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Darien Keith Bullins, daughter Jamie Elizabeth Bullins, and brother-in-law Arthur Staley. Mr. Bullins is survived by his son, Troy Dale Bullins; grandchild, Cody Essick; sisters, Juanita Davis and husband, Ken of Asheboro, NC, Nancy Staley of Sophia, NC, Peggy Williamson and husband, Bennie of Asheboro, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Chris Davis and wife, Penny of Siler City of NC, David Davis and wife, Denise of Randleman, NC, Melisa Simmons and husband, Michael of Sophia, NC, Jennifer R. Staley of Sophia, NC; great nieces and nephews Gavin Davis, Caroline Davis, Hannah Davis, Caleb Simmons and girlfriend Bri Livengood, Casey Simmons and girlfriend, Shea Williamson, Jessica Melton Mace; great-great niece and nephews, Julia Mace and Brayden Mace and Kenzie Livengood. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. -1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro, NC, and other times at the home of Peggy and Bennie Williamson.
