Trella S. Beane

Mrs. Trella Claudene Swaney Beane, 83, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at First Health Hospice House. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, December 13, 2013, at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Billy Chriscoe officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Beane was born March 13, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Claude Edward Swaney and Bessie Jane McDowell Swaney. She had worked for Klaussner Furniture for 30 years and enjoyed going to Wal-Mart. Trella was the back bone of the family she loved so much. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Dempsey Swaney, Claude Swaney, Jr., and Henry Lee Swaney. Mrs. Beane is survived by her husband, Ivey Beane, of the home daughters, Peggy Hunt, of Asheboro, NC, Linda Darnell, of Virginia, Teresa Swaney, of Asheboro, NC; sons, Gilbert Beane, Timmy Beane, both of Asheboro, NC, Steve Beane, of Greensboro, NC, Jerry Hughes, of Texas, Scott Robinson, of Asheboro, NC; sister, Inez Burcham, of Asheboro, NC; 26 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm Friday, December 13, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home.
