Ms. Tracy Ann Davis Ballentine, 51, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Hinkle Hospice House. A celebration of life service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Asheboro Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. J.C. Miles officiating. Ms. Ballentine was born April 17, 1960. She was the daughter of Lynwood and Mona Hogge, of Gloucester, VA. She was a 1987 graduate of Rockingham Community College with a degree in nursing. She also attended Central Carolina Community College where she was majoring in social work. She was in the honor society. Tracy was a Registered Nurse with Randolph Hospital and Moses Cone. At the time of her disability in 2003, she worked as a nurse with Accordant Health Services. Tracy loved nursing and helping others. She was a volunteer with Randolph Hospital where she started out in nursing in 1987. In addition to her parents, Ms. Ballentine is survived by her sons, Matt and Clayton Ballentine, of Asheboro; sisters, Alycia Giles and husband, Willie, Jodi Lane and husband, David, all of Gloucester, VA; brother, Duane Hogge, of Charlottesville, VA; numerous nieces and nephews and an abundance of great friends with special mention to Chris and Roger Thornburg, JD and Joellen Lawson, Nell and Arnold Brame, Sandra Riggins, Cindy Brown, Barbara Martin, Corey Martin, and David and Tammy Jones and their daughter, Lea.
