Tony Parrish

Tony Lee Parrish, 53, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at his home. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Gearren officiating. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Parrish was born October 30, 1962, the son of the late Vernon and Esther Parrish. He worked at Hughes Furniture for 30 years. Mr. Parrish enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Boggs; and a son-in-law, Chad Howard. Mr. Parrish is survived by his wife, Lou Parrish of the home;,daughters, Debbie Lou Parrish, Lisa Mae Zuniga and husband, Martin, all of Asheboro; son, Tony Wayne Parrish and wife, Vanessa of Asheboro; sisters, Judy Marion and Linda Dunn, both of Asheboro; brother, Johnny Parrish of Asheboro; grandchildren, Juanna Zuniga, Martin Zuniga, Alex Zuniga, Matthew Parrish, Ryan Parrish and Ansley Parrish. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
