Toni Routh

Toni Kay Richardson Routh, 72, of Asheboro, died on Friday, May 8, 2026, surrounded by he family at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Mt. Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 1206 Oakland Avenue, Asheboro, with Pastor Neil Poole officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Toni was born on November 18, 1953, the daughter of the late Harris David and Alice Marie Richardson. She was a graduate of Randleman High School and was employed at Dan Thomas Pontiac. She enjoyed vacationing by the ocean and soaking in the sun on the beach. Her greatest loves was her granddaughter, Makayla Stewart and her special grandson, Kaine Dowd.

She is survived by her husband, Ted Routh; daughter, Misty Stewart (Mikey); granddaughter, Makayla Stewart; best friend and sister, Tammy Auman; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Sally Routh; nephew, Christopher Marvin Lee; and faithful companion, "Koko".

The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m., Thursday at Mt. Calvary Independent Baptist Church, prior to the service.
