Tommy Fox, 70, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at High Point Regional Hospital in High Point. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Flag Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Barry Queen and Rev. J. Harold Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of New Hanover County, Mr. Fox was born April 21, 1945 to the late Benson Gail Fox and Nixie Byrd Fox. He was retired from the Asheboro Fire Department and Ulah Motor Company. Mr. Fox enjoyed fixing cars and showing them in antique car shows. He loved his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Darlene Fox and Tommy Chrisco of Seagrove; son, Jeffrey Fox and wife, Angel of Asheboro and their children, Joshua Thomas Fox and Sara Grace Fox; sisters, Sue Brady and husband, Gary of Denton, Ann Hunter and husband, Van of Asheboro; special friends, Melvin Brown, Carroll Albright, Gene Turner, Roy King, Diffie Moffitt, Alan Callicutt, Van Kearns, Kenny Frye, Steve Pritchard and the rest of the Hardees Gang. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
