Thomas Samuel Graham, 74, of Ramseur, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. His home going was due to a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017, at McCrary Chapel United Methodist Church, Ramseur, with Rev. Samuel Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland-McCrary Cemetery. Born July 29, 1942 in Richmond County, Mr. Graham was the son of the late Everette "Pross" and Montaria Graham. Tom attended school in Ellerbe, NC, where he lived with his nine sisters and two brothers. At an early age he joined St. Luke Freewill Baptist Church in Ellerbe. Tom began his working career at Dixie Furniture, completing ten years of service. His love for motorcycles and stock car racing influenced him to pursue his career in automotives for over 40 years at Cox's Amoco and Mid-State Toyota in Asheboro. Tom and Pam were joined in holy matrimony on November 17, 1982. Tom joined McCrary United Methodist Church in early 2017. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. He leaves behind to mourn his passing his wife, Pamela Jeanette Graham of the home; daughters, Caretha Coulter and husband, Charles of Cedar Hill, TX, Camela Barker of Raleigh; son, George Samuel McLaughlin and wife, Jeanie of Rockingham; sisters, Alma Graham Baldwin and husband, Estes of Ellerbe, Hortie McLaughlin of Fayetteville, Ernestine Moore and husband, Bill of Candor, Evelyn Campbell of Smithfield; brother, Ahab Graham of Seagrove; grandchildren, Shacora Jeane Bunting, Kelsey Shea Caba, Alexandria S. McDougald, Christopher McLaughlin and Cory McLaughlin; and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Ridge Funeral Home and other times at he home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph County, P.O.
