Timothy R. Sink

Timothy R. "Tim" Sink, 68, of Asheboro, died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his residence. No services are scheduled at this time. Tim was born June 28, 1952 in Randolph County, NC, and was a graduate of Asheboro High School, class of 1970. He had worked at Prestige Fabricators for 24 years and was a seasoned musician who played piano and sang all of his life. He was a man of faith and a member of Cedar Falls United Methodist Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher and lay leader. Mr. Sink was a veteran of the US Army. Mr. Sink was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Benson Sink. Survivors include his wife, Trudy H. Sink of the home; daughter, Cory Griffiths and husband Scott of Asheboro; son, Brian Sink and wife Cecilly of Asheboro; mother, Margie Sink of Asheboro; sister, Donna and husband Doug of Asheboro; brother, Mark Sink of Thomasville; and many extended family members.
