Timothy A. Garner

Mr. Timothy Alton Garner, 16, of Seagrove, NC, died Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Community Baptist Church with the Rev. David Snider officiating. Burial will follow at New Center Christian Church Cemetery in Seagrove. A native of Randolph County, NC, Timothy was born December 29, 1994. He was the son of Alton Farrell Garner and Frances Elizabeth Mills Garner, of the home. Timothy was a student at Southwestern Randolph High School and attended Community Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Alton Farrell Garner, II. Mr. Garner, in addition to his parents, is survived by his twin brother, Thomas Farrell Garner, sister, Katie Elizabeth Garner, both of the home; half sister, Alice Spivey, of Seagrove, NC; half brother, Johnny Spivey, of Seagrove, NC; maternal grandfather, Richard Mills, of Rockingham, NC. Friends may call from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Community Baptist Church and other times at the home.
