Thomas Claven Voncannon

Thomas Claven Voncannon, 77, of Asheboro, died Friday, August 6, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. A private serivce will be held at a later date. Claven was born on April 29, 1944, in Randolph Co., to the late Worth Thomas Voncannon and Bessie Magdalene Marion. Claven was a wonderful person and he loved to help people. Claven never met a stranger and loved to make friends. He enjoyed to telling joke and stories. Claven just wanted to be loved by all and he will be missed so much. Surviving are his daughter, Angela Thompson (Paul); sister, Judy Nance; grandchildren, Craig Powell (Gandson), Heather Sanders (Jesse), Ashley Teague (Stephen), Lila Haga, and Tiffany Thompson; great grandchildren, Zackariah, Abigail, David, Amelia, Samson, Adalynn, Orlendo, Gracelyn, and one in Heaven; nephew, Daniel Nance (Kim); great nieces, Madison, Marrisa; and many cousins.
