April 17, 1946 — March 28, 2018

Thomas Clayburn Hyatt, 71, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2018 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jon Shook officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park with military honors presented by The Randolph County Honor Guard. Born April 17, 1946 in Moore County, Mr. Hyatt was the son of the late Claude and Lois Hyatt. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, working in the yard and riding his tractor. Mr. Hyatt loved his family and animals, especially his dog, "Daisy". Survivors include his long-time compnanion, Betty Mitcheum of the home; daughter, Lisa Hyatt Riffe of Asheboro; son, David Hyatt and wife, Heidi of Wahiawa, HI: brother, Ricky Hyatt and wife, Ernestine of Hillsville; grandsons, Silas Hyatt, Dylan Riffe; granddaughter, Ellie Davis; and stepgrandson, Elijah Trogdon. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Ridge Funeral Home.
