Mr. Thomas Maurice "Shorty"� Burrow,Sr. 72, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, December 23, 2011, at his residence. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Garry Reeder officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Burrow was born August 3, 1939. He was the son of the late William Luther Burrow and Bessie Kinney Burrow. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He had worked at Interior Enterprizes. Mr. Burrow was a CB Enthusiast known as Flat Top or 97. In addition to his parents, Mr. Burrow was preceded in death by his brothers, Willie, David, and Doc Burrow. Mr. Burrow is survived by his wife, Judy Burrow, of the home; daughters, Pam Strickland and husband ,Junior, of Asheboro, Porkey Cox, of Asheboro; son, Tommy Burrow and wife, Marty, of Randleman; grandchildren, Melissa Cox, Amber Southard, Emily Cox, Megan Cox, Ryan Cox, Zack Burrow; and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, December 26, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home.
