Terry Lynn Lucas

Terry Lynn Lucas, Sr., 70, of Asheboro, NC, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Ulah Church of God with Rev. Alex Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Randolph County, he was born February 6, 1945 to the late Jesse Lee and Dora Bristow Lucas. Mr. Lucas was a member of Ulah Church of God and was owner and operator of Lucas Mobile Home Service. He served in the US Army during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lela May L. Harper and Janet L. Barnes. Survivors include his wife, Judy Lucas, of the home; daughters, Tammy L. Quinlan and husband, Sean, of Guam, Teresa L. McCracken, of Asheboro; sons, Steven S. Lucas and wife, Sara, of Randleman, Tim L. Lucas and wife, Tina, of Star, Terry Lynn Lucas, Jr., of Alabama; brother, Ricky D. Lucas and wife, Cindy, of Topsail Beach, NC; stepdaughters, Christy A. Vasquez and husband, Ilde, of Tracy, CA, Teresa L. Givens, of Franklinville; and 21 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
