Mr. Terry H. Farling, 64, of Anderson, IN, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 6, 1950 in Portland, Indiana and resided most of his life in Indiana. A funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Living Water Community Church in Anderson, IN, with Rev. Tom Farling and Rev. David Farling officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro, NC. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Terry graduated from Muncie Central High School, and he served his country in the Army in Washington D.C. at the Pentagon during the Vietnam War. He also attended Ball State University, and Regent University. He was a member of Living Water Community Church. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and he loved to write. Terry was in the process of writing a book on his family heritage of faith during the time period of World War II. Terry is survived by his loving wife, Myra Farling, mother, Vera Farling, siblings, Sheryl (William) Smith, Rev. Thomas (Lana) Farling, Rev. David (Mary) Farling, and several nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert G. Farling, Sr., and his brother Robert G. Farling, Jr. Visitation will be held Friday, October 3, 2014, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Living Water Community Church, 5300 S. State Road 67, Anderson, IN 46013.
