Taylor Elaine Odom Hamlet

Taylor Elaine "Lady Bug" Odom Hamlet, 18 months, of Randleman, NC, grew her wings at Brenner Children's Hospital on Sunday, December 1, 2013. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Big Oak Church of God with Rev. Bill Chriscoe officiating. Taylor was born May 10, 2012 in Randolph County, NC. She was a vibrant redhead full of energy and life. She loved to go outside, always smiling and happy and she never met a stranger. Taylor is survived by her parents, Amy Miller and Chris Hamlet, of the home; sisters, Ashley, Brook and Connie Miller, all of Lexington; grandparents, Clarence Odom, of Asheboro, Sherry and Jimmy Hamlet, of Liberty; aunts, Cindy Foxx and husband, Tony, of Ramseur, Kim Hamlet, of Raleigh; uncle, Jacobie Odom, of Piney Ridge; cousins, Bri-Ana Alston and Terrance Odom, both of Asheboro. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Brenner Children's Hospital, Office of Development and Alumni Events, P.O. Box 571021, Winston-Salem, NC 27157-1021. The family would like to send a special thanks to the nurses and caretakers of Brenner Children's Hospital and the family and friends that spent many hours and days praying. In order to give life in honor of "Lady Bug", she was an organ donor.
