Sylvia Tedder

Sylvia Jean Harris Tedder, 79, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023, at Union Grove Christian Church where she was a member, with Rev. Garry Reeder and Rev. Scott Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Sylvia was born on February 1, 1943 in Davidson County to the late Clyde and Lela Lanier Harris. She was a kind and loving person who loved her family and being a homemaker. She worked at B.B. Walker Shoe Co. and Luck's Cannery.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her brothers, Hoyt Harris, David Harris, Harold Harris.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Tedder of the home; son, Gregory B. Tedder of Asheboro; sisters, Faye Batten, Connie Williamson and husband Charles; brothers, Clayton Harris and wife Frances, and Earl Harris and wife Bebe.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
