Swannie R. Looper

Mrs. Swannie Kathleen Rowe Looper, 80, of Seagrove, NC, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at The Randolph Hospice House. A native of Chatham County, NC, Mrs. Looper was born March 6, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Willie Rasker Rowe and Annie Lee King Rowe. She had worked as a solderer for Colonial Tin, in Greensboro, NC, and as a cashier for several retail stores. Mrs. Looper is survived by her husband, Doyle "Blue" Looper, of the home; daughters, Kathie Diane Harwell and husband, Jeff, Becky Sue Maxwell, and significant other, Betty Murphy, all of Asheboro, NC; sons, Doyle Louis Looper, Danny Lloyd Looper and wife, Kay, all of Sanford, NC, Jackie Lee Looper and wife, Susan, of Elon, NC; stepson, Butch Looper, of FL; grandchildren, Anita, Jennifer, Christine, Jeffery; and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home.
