Twila Suzette "Suzie" de Friess, 51, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 27, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Richardson officiating. A native of Guilford County, Suzie was born January 3, 1964. She enjoyed looking after her mother and spending time with her, Bob and Jessica. She loved swimming, sunbathing, fishing, feeding the birds and working in her yard. Suzie was passionate in her love for animals. She has three dogs who will miss her very much, she leaves them to Bob and Jessica to have and love now. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Thomas Acuff; and brother, Eddie Burton. Suzie is survived by her husband, Robert de Friess of the home; daughter, Jessica de Friess of the home; mother, Agnes Acuff of the home; stepson, Brandon de Friess of Chapel Hill; sister, Sandy Anderson Groat of Greensboro; and brother, Freddy Burton of Pleasant Garden. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m., Monday, July 27, 2015, prior to the service at the funeral home.
