Sue Wright Marilyn Sue Hogan Wright, 64, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Panther Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Pete Lamb, Rev. Ricky Chappell, Rev. Doug Huttleston and Rev. Charles Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born April 8, 1953 in Lee County, Mrs. Wright was the daughter of the late Gene and Mary Hogan. She was a member of Panther Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright was retired from Jockey. She loved her her family especially her grandchildren and her dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Eugene Hogan. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Wright, Sr. of the home; sons, Bobby H. Wright, Jr. and wife, Julie of Asheboro, Jimmy Ray Wright and wife, Lori of Randleman; sisters, Helen Woodell of Asheboro, Margaret Smith and husband, Earl of Asheboro, Reva Morton and husband, Ricky of Franklinville; brothers, Calvin Hogan and wife, Becky, Kenneth Hogan and wife, Rose, Mitchell Hogan and wife, Carol, all of Asheboro; and grandchildren, Lauryn Wright, Gracie Wright, Andyn Wright. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home and other time at the home.
