Sue Lucas

Sue Lucas, 65, of Asheboro, died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital in High Point. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Born January 14, 1951 in Randolph County, Mrs. Lucas was the daughter of the late Theodore and Maxine Fesmire. She worked at Randolph Community College for 22 years. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and cooking. Mrs. Lucas was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and she loved her dog, "Mollie". She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Tommy Lucas of the home; daughter, Susan Lynette Pate and husband, Rusty, of High Point; brother, Larry Fesmire of Asheboro; and her granddaughter, Chloe Lynne Pate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home.
