Stephen L. Barnes

Stephen Lyndon Barnes, 20, of Franklinville, NC, died Friday, January 20, 2012, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Monday, January 23, 2012, at Randleman Church of God with Rev. Troy Wilhelm officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Stephen was born April 1, 1991. He was employed at Wal-Mart and had attended Providence Grove High School. He was outgoing and loved to work on the farm with his brother. Stephen was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was loved by many. Stephen is survived by his mother, Wanda Morgan, of the home; father, Ronnie Barnes, of Asheboro; brother, Wesley Monroe Barnes, of Clemmons; and nieces, Emily Barnes and Isabelle Barnes. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, January 22, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of his aunt, Barbara Wall Black. All are welcome.
