Stacey Garner Williamson

Stacey Mae Garner Williamson, 83, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, July 15, 2011, at Randolph Hospice House. A graveside service is scheduled for 5:00 pm Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Flag Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. J. Harold Hammond officiating. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Williamson was born February 15, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Duckery Artemus Garner and Hassie Ellen Davis Garner. She worked in textiles and retired from Jockey International. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Williamson; brothers, Elmer Garner, Garrett Garner, Everett Garner, Homer Garner, Wade Garner; sister, Evelyn Newsom; and great grandson, Michael Teal. Mrs. Williamson is survived by daughters, Phyllis Caviness and husband, Gary, of Seagrove, Sue Allred, of Asheboro; son, Phillip E. "Popeye"� Williamson and wife, Judy, of Asheboro; sister, Lannie Joyce, of Asheboro, stepsisters, Melita Dixon, Grace Craven, both of Asheboro, stepbrother, Garland Cooper, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Kim Caviness Wilson, Nickie Williamson Teal, Christopher Williamson, Jason Caviness, Tina Williamson DeHart, Jamie Williamson Allen; great grandchildren, Christina Williamson, Ryan Wilson, Walker Teal, Mark Wilson and Cohen Caviness. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Randolph Co., P.O.
