Soledad Aviles Rabadan, 89, of Franklinville, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023, at her home.
Mrs. Soledad Aviles Rabadan, daughter of the late Primitivo Rabadan and Delfina Flores was born on April 17, 1933, in Mexico. She married at 22 years of age to the late Sotero Aviles Casas and was blessed with many children.
A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with Father Phillip Kollithanath officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Sotero Aviles Casas; her son, Luis Aviles Rabadan; her infant children, Alejandro and Andres Aviles Rabadan.
She was a devout Catholic woman who loved God, her flowers, cooking, her parrot "Pancho", and her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Jose Leonor, Aristeo, Santiago, Jose Felix, Teresa, Ponciano, and Genaro, as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023, at Ridge Funeral Home and again from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at St. Josheph's Catholic Church prior to the service.
She worked hard from a young age. She had a hard life but loved her family to no end. Her strength and resilience will always be an inspiration to us all.
