Shirley H. Presnell

Mrs. Shirley Rebecca Hinson Presnell, 58, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, March 25, 2011, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Kidd officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Stanly County, NC, Mrs. Presnell was born February 14, 1953. She was the daughter of the late James Mitchell Hinson and Olga Bruce Eagle Hinson. She was retired from Klaussner Furniture and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, James Hinson. Mrs. Presnell is survived by her husband, Gilbert Presnell, of the home; sons, Robert Presnell and wife, Sherry, of Randleman, NC, Timmy Presnell and wife, Rebecca, of Statesville, NC; sister, Linda Frazier and husband, Rick, of Coleridge, NC; grandchildren, Nathan Todd Hilton and Colby Nicholas Hilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, March 28, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
