Shirley Freeman

Mrs. Shirley Elizabeth Latham Freeman, 72, of Asheboro, NC, died Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Asbury Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Brycen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph Co County, NC, Mrs. Freeman was born January 11, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Latham and Esther Cloe Luck Latham. Mrs. Freeman was a member of Asbury Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and her church. She was a very special person and a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a friend to everybody. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Freeman as preceded in death by her son, Dean Freeman, and daughter, Tina Freeman. Mrs. Freeman is survived by her husband, Boyd Freeman, of the home; daughter, Dawn Bedsaul and husband, Larry, of Asheboro, NC; sons, Harvey Freeman and Jay Pruitt, both of Asheboro, NC; brother, Carl Latham, of Asheboro, NC; five grandchildren including her special granddaughter, Tiffany Luck and husband, Todd and their son, Mason Luck, who is one of six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
