Shirley Ann Fox

Mrs. Shirley Ann Reed Fox, 64, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, March 11, 2011, at Flag Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. J. Harold Hammond and the Rev. Billy Jarrett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Fox was born July 12, 1946. She was a member of Flag Springs United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for more than 25 years, and had worked at Roses Department Store. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie Bullins Reed, and her brother, Gerry Reed. Mrs. Fox is survived by her husband, Tommy Fox, of the home; daughter, Darlene Fox, and Tommy Chrisco, of Seagrove, NC; son, Jeffrey Fox and wife, Angel, of Asheboro, NC; sisters Wanda Singleton and husband, Bobby, of Asheboro, NC, Madonna Evans and husband, Wayne, of Asheboro, NC; brother, Tony Reed, of Troy, NC; grandchildren, Joshua Fox, Sara Fox; eight nieces, eight nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
