Shirley Casper

Ms. Shirley Ruth Casper, 68, of Pleasant Garden, NC, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, February 7, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at North Bend Cemetery in Denton. A native of Guilford County, NC, Ms. Casper was born February 18, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Bert Albert Casper and Bessie Elmie Bristow Casper. She had worked at Jockey International in Cedar Falls and loved to fish, draw, and spend time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and loved making people laugh. Ms. Casper is survived by her daughter, Ann Yow and husband, Dale, of Seagrove, NC; sons, Lloyd Jarrell and wife, Melinda, of the home, Joey Ingram and wife, Jan, of Albemarle, NC; grandchildren, Michael Cranford, Chris Scott, Hayley Ingram, Amanda Cody, Lloyd Marion, Jamie Robinson, Brandon Robinson; and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Tributes may be sent to the family at www.ridgefuneralhome.com.
