Sheridan Kahle

Sheridan Kahle, 85, of Ramseur, died Sunday, October 23, 2016 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Deep River Baptist Church with Pastor Boyd Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Kahle was born September 29th, 1931, at home in Princeton, WV. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was also known by everyone in his community for his job at the local dumpster. He is preceded in death by his father John Bruce Sr. and mother Clara Garnett Kahle; daughter, Kimberley Williard; granddaughter, Jamie Nicole Karnes; and brother-in-law, Mike Smith. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Carolyn Kahle; his 7 children: Shari Mercer of Richmond, VA; Carmen Williard of the home; John Kahle and wife, Jeannie of Boone, NC; Candace Karnes of Princeton, WV; Melissa Hussey and husband, Joe of Asheboro, NC; Russell Matthew Kahle and wife, Melissa A. of Winston Salem, NC; and Russell Scott Kahle and wife, Lauren of Franklinville, NC; three sisters, Mildred Goodall of Princeton, WV; Margeret Bailey of Deltona, FL; Frances Pennington and husband, Sheldon of Princeton, WV; and brother, John Bruce Kahle Jr. of Princeton, WV. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
