Shelba Clifton

Shelba Rosetta Phillips Clifton, 60, of Trinity, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Rev. Mike Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Friends Meeting Cemetery. Mrs. Clifton was a born in West Jefferson, NC on June 17, 1956. She was a loving wife and mother and a hard worker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Clinton Neal; brothers, Grover Phillips, Marvin Phillips; and sister, Sylvia "Susie" Betello. Surviving are her husband, Charles B. Clifton, of the home; children, Tony Phillips and wife, Kathy, of Trinity, Lucredia Seech, of Trinity, Carol Phillips, of Archdale, Michelle Tate and husband, Johnny, of Trinity; brothers, Mike Phillips and wife, Debbie, of Archdale, Henry Phillips, of Sophia; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charles L. Clifton and Irene Clifton, of Asheboro; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, Tony Phillips.
