Scottie D. Lambeth

Mr. Scottie Dearmont Lambeth, 47, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, November 7, 2011, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Kidd officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Lambeth was born March 2, 1964. He was the son of Carol Sue Hudspeth Lambeth, of Asheboro, and the late Edgar Dearmont Lambeth. He was a former volunteer fireman with Westside Fire Department and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was employed with Hysong (formerly Goodyear) and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. In addition to his father, Mr. Lambeth was preceded in death by his brother, Billie Steven Lambeth. In addition to his mother, Mr. Lambeth is survived by his wife, Bernadette Lambeth, of the home; daughter, Abigail Lambeth, of Asheboro, NC; son, Corin Lambeth, of the home; brother, Randy Lambeth, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Lileigh Payne and Brookelynn Payne. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
