Scott Kepley

Jessie Scott Kepley, Jr., 70, of Asheboro, died Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rodney Skipper officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Thomasville. Born October 2, 1950, in Randolph County, NC, Mr. Kepley was the son of the late Jessie Scott Kepley, Sr., and Kathleen Myers Kepley. He was retired from Stuart Bowman Automotive and was the owner of Rustic Frontier County Dance. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kepley was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Kepley. Mr. Kepley is survived by his daughters, Lisa Lamonds and significant other Kendall Auman of Asheboro, Karen Hughes and husband Joel of Lexington; sisters, Edith Anderson of Asheboro, Rachel Williams of Randleman, Betty Nance of Asheboro, Opal Hughes of Lexington; grandchildren, Dylan Lamonds, Krista Lamonds, Alyssa Lamonds, Ethan Davis, Christopher Hardin, Landon Hardin, Gabriel Hughes; great grandchildren, Holland and Maisie. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2020, and other times at the home of the daughter, Lisa Lamonds, at 5653 US 220 South, Asheboro, NC 27205.
