Sara Ruth Seabolt

Miss Sara Ruth Seabolt, 76, of Candor, NC, formerly of Asheboro, died Sunday, June 24, 2012, at First Health Montgomery Memorial Hospital. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Derald Hunt officiating. A native of Davidson County, NC, Sara was born December 1, 1935. She was the daughter of the late John Paul Seabolt and Fannie Marie Smith Seabolt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Seabolt, Mary Frances Farlow; and brothers, Dwight Seabolt and Paul Clayton Seabolt. Miss Seabolt is survived by sisters, Jean S. Smith, of Atlanta, GA, Gladys S. Shepard, of Pinehurst, NC, Loucille S. Purvis, of High Falls; brother, Wayne Seabolt, of High Falls, NC; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home.
