Sandy Dewitt Wright, 86, of Asheboro, died Friday, November 28, 2014 at Woodland Hill Center in Asheboro. Funeral services will conducted 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, NC, with Rev. Jimmie Surratt officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Asheboro, NC. A native of Chesterfield, SC, Mr. Wright was born December 13, 1927, the son of the late James and Lois Cato Wright. He was retired from BB Walker Shoe Company. Mr. Wright is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and three sisters-in-law, Gene Wright, Rosette Wright, Marion McIntosh. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Wednesday, Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Asheboro, NC.
