Sandra Brim Loftis

Sep 23, 1961 — Sep 14, 2026

Asheboro

Sandra Brim Loftis, 64, of Asheboro, NC, ran into the arms of her Lord and Savior on September 14, 2026, surrounded by the ones she loved most.

Sandra was born and raised in Asheboro, NC, by her late parents, Everett and Glenda Brim. She was a 1979 graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School. Throughout her younger years, Sandra was a plant manager at Matlab, sold insurance with Primerica, and taught at Stepping Stones Daycare.

Sandra never met a stranger. She made friends everywhere she went and was a true friend to many. She was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back, and she had a heart for serving and caring for others. Sandra was an active member of New Hope Community Church in Seagrove, where her faith was the most important part of her life. She rarely spoke to anyone without sharing her love for the Lord. She had a fierce faith in Jesus and trusted Him in everything. Sandra was a prayer warrior. Anyone who came to her with a need, a struggle, or a worry could count on her to pray over them and remind them to trust the Lord. Her faith was not simply something she believed; it was something she lived. She devoted many years to teaching children about Jesus, both through Sunday school and her work in daycare, and she dearly loved her church family. She especially loved the senior ministry at New Hope.

Sandra deeply loved her family. She loved being a wife and a mama, but her greatest joy was being a Nana to her two grandsons, Dallis and Karter, whom she loved dearly. Her family was her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She also loved her beloved dog, Rocket, and cat, Lily, who were part of the family. Sandra enjoyed shopping, thrifting and antiquing, cooking, crafting, floral arranging, and spending time with the people she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, friendship, generosity, and a life devoted to serving others.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Paul Loftis; her daughter, Nicole Dombrowski (John); her beloved grandsons, Dallis and Karter; her brother, Lee Brim (Laura); nephews, Adam (Kaley) and Zac (Candace); great-niece and great-nephew, Raelynn and Brooks; as well as numerous cousins and many very special friends who loved her dearly.

A visitation with the family will be held at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro on Friday, September 18, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held at New Hope Community Church in Seagrove on Saturday, September 19, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Richard Routh, Rev. Casey Harris, and Rev. Matt Smith officiating.
