Sandra T. Dunn

Sandra Thornburg Dunn, 72, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at High Point Regional Hospital in High Point. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 14, 2017, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Harold Hammond officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born August 30, 1944 in Randolph County, Mrs. Dunn was the daughter of the late Arthur and Margie Thornburg. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and was retired from Mid-State Plastics. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her husband, Ivey Stamey Dunn, Jr.; and brothers, David, Donald and Larry Thornburg. She is survived by her brother, Dale Thornburg of Asheboro; several nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday,April 13, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister-in-law, Theresa Thornburg, 524 Twain Dr., Asheboro, NC.
